Welcome to another episode of Jay and Ross Talk Shit! This time, we discuss the pointlessness of the Entourage movie, the negative effect that over-sensitivity is having in higher education, and have a contentious discussion about Caitlyn Jenner
To get everything you can out of this episode, I highly recommend reading this article at Vox, regarding the modern climate of higher education and liberal arts.
0:00 – Intro
0:13 – The Entourage Movie (contains spoilers, but c’mon, it’s Entourage)
—-3:36-5:48 – True Blood Tangent
—-19:20-20:32 – Wolf of Wall Street Tangent
20:32 – The Effect of Personal Sensitivity in HIgher Education
27:41 – Caitlyn Jenner
A couple of quick notes regarding the Caitlyn Jenner segment: since I was speaking about Bruce Jenner’s life before transitioning to Caitlyn Jenner for a large portion of the conversation, I used masculine pronouns quite frequently. This was most likely wrong, and I apologize to anybody who might be offended. Aside from going back and crudely re-editing those individual words, I don’t have much of a choice in fixing the podcast, so I hope this apology will suffice.
Also, I was under the impression that Caitlyn Jenner underwent a sex change operation, which is incorrect. I do not feel that that really matters to the argument at hand, but I figured I would correct myself here anyway.
As usual, thanks for listening!
